Provisions on price specifications for labor protective gloves

In order to guide employers in the rational allocation and correct use of labor protection gloves, protect the health of workers in the production process, and ensure production, and to avoid the price of labor protection gloves from maintaining stability, the State Economic and Trade Commission has organized the formulation of the "Labor Protection Equipment Allocation Standard (Trial)" in accordance with the Labor Law of the People's Republic of China. Please carefully implement the relevant regulations on the price of labor gloves.

The regulations on the price of labor gloves apply to all enterprises, public institutions, individual economic organizations, and other employers within the territory of the People's Republic of China. The term "labor protection equipment" as used in this standard refers to the equipment provided by employers during the labor process to protect the health of workers. Employers should guide and supervise workers to use them correctly during the operation process. The state implements a production license system for the price of labor gloves. The special labor protection equipment purchased, distributed, and used by the employer shall have a production license and product qualification certificate. The employer shall establish a sound management system for the procurement, acceptance, storage, distribution, use, replacement, and scrapping of labor protection equipment. The Safety Technology Department shall inspect and accept the purchased labor protection equipment.

This standard refers to the "Classification Catalogue of Work Types in the People's Republic of China" and selects 116 types of work as typical types. The allocation of labor protection equipment for other types of work can be determined by referring to the comparison table for similar types of work in Appendix B. If it is found that the labor protection equipment allocation standard for oil tanker cleaners belongs to the similar type of work as "gas station operators" in Appendix B, refer to the allocation standard for "gas station operators".

All personnel engaged in multiple tasks or working in multiple working environments should be equipped with labor protection equipment based on their main job type and working environment. If the labor protection equipment provided is indeed not suitable for other types of work or other working environments, other necessary labor protection equipment should be equipped or borrowed. This standard requires operators of certain types of work to be equipped with dust masks, and gauze masks should not be used as dust masks. The configuration of anti virus protective equipment should accurately select the corresponding poison filter tank based on the types of toxins that operators may come into contact with. Before each use, carefully check if it is useful and regularly replace the poison filter tank (box) according to national standards.

In addition, the price of labor protection gloves is also related to the materials used to make them. Generally, gloves made of canvas, yarn, velvet, leather, rubber, plastic, latex, and other materials are collectively referred to as "labor protection gloves". Employers should equip gloves with different protective properties and materials according to the actual needs of workers to prevent injuries such as cutting, grinding, burning, scalding, freezing, electric shock, static electricity, corrosion, immersion, etc. during operation.

The "hearing protectors" in this standard are collectively referred to as earplugs, earmuffs, and noise resistant helmets. Employers can provide hearing protectors for operators based on the intensity and frequency of noise in the workplace.
