To ensure the authenticity, accuracy, and reliability of the inspection of labor protection equipment, it is necessary to strictly follow relevant technical specifications. Inspection agencies shall not conduct inspections in violation of the requirements of this standard and specification.

2. Inspection responsibilities:

Labor protection equipment testing is a highly responsible technical service activity. Testing and inspection institutions need to follow the principles of authenticity and integrity, respect science and facts, and carry out testing and inspection work seriously. Any illegal operation, fraud, or deception is an illegal act that should be held accountable.

Different work environments require wearing different labor protection equipment. Different types of labor protection equipment have different specific operations in daily maintenance. Proper maintenance according to regulations can extend the service life of labor protection equipment and play its due protective role. How should each protective equipment be maintained?

1. Work clothes: The company should clean them uniformly every week. If there are special materials, they need to be pre processed personally until they can be directly cleaned.

2. Helmet: Wipe the inside of the helmet with a towel dipped in soapy water to remove dirt, then soak in water to remove soap, and let it dry in a cool place. Attention: Do not get it in the sunlight to avoid shortening the lifespan of the helmet. The basic service life is 3 years.

3. Labor protection gloves: Coated gloves, such as nitrile gloves, should be cleaned with clean water, kept away from strong light and heat sources, and stored in a cool, dry, and ventilated place. If there are special materials, soak the outer surface with ketone first, and then rinse with laundry detergent and water.

4. Gas mask: The mask body can be cleaned. Before cleaning, put down the filter box and clean the mask with a matching cleaning cloth. Alternatively, soak the mask in warm water at a temperature not exceeding 120 degrees Celsius, clean it with a soft bristle brush until clean, and air dry it in a clean environment.
